Windows XP Juga Pensiun Setelah Bill Gates

Windows XP Juga Pensiun Setelah Bill Gates

(sumber: inilah)

Xorg 1.6 in [extra] on Archlinux

Tonight, as usual, I upgraded my box with the good yaourt and what an Easter Surprise I got?... Xorg 1.6 was in [extra] and in that very moment I no more needed to use testing packages to make my laptop work in all its grace!

Here you are the notice directly from Archlinux news:

Xorg-server 1.6.0 and its related drivers will make their move to extra.
This new release features input device properties, DRI2 and kernel
modesetting (KMS). Note that DRI2 and KMS are only implemented by the
Intel driver at this moment.
This release also comes with a new driver: xf86-video-intel-legacy. This
driver is an old intel driver version, patched to support recent
xorg-server versions. This driver should be used by people having
problems with the newer xf86-video-intel driver.
People still using xorg-server 1.4.2 are advised to upgrade and replace intel or i810 drivers with the legacy driver.

SQL Server 2008

Microsoft Rilis SQL Server 2008 Service Pack I

images975Anda pengguna SQL Server 2008?

Bries History of Garfield Carton Movie and Pictures

In the 1970s, Davis authored a strip, Gnorm Gnat; it met with mostly negative reviews. One editor said that "his art was good, his gags were great", but "nobody can identify with bugs". Davis took his advice and created a new strip with a cat as its main character. The strip originally consisted of four main characters. Garfield, the titular character, was based on the cats Davis was around growing up; he took his name and personality from Davis's grandfather James A. Garfield Davis, who was, in Davis's words, "a large cantankerous man". Jon Arbuckle came from a coffee commercial from the 1950s, and Odie came from a radio advertisement Davis had written for Oldsmobile-Cadillac. The fourth character, Lyman, was Odie's original owner; he was written in to give Jon someone to talk with. Davis later realized that Garfield and Jon could "communicate nonverbally", and Lyman was written out. The strip was originally rejected by King Features Syndicate and Chicago Tribune-New York News; United Feature Syndicate, however, accepted it in 1978. It debuted in forty-one newspapers on June 19 of that year.[6][1] In 1994, Davis' company, Paws, Inc., purchased all rights to the strips from 1978-1993 from United Feature. The strip is currently distributed by Universal Press Syndicate, however, rights for the strip remain with Paws. Garfield quickly became a commercial success. In 1978, less than three years after its release, the strip appeared in 850 newspapers and accumulated over $15 million in merchandise. To manage the merchandise, Davis founded Paws, Inc.[8] By 2002, Garfield became the world's most syndicated strip, appearing in 2570 newspapers with 263 million readers worldwide;[1] by 2004, Garfield appeared in nearly 2600 newspapers and sold from $750 million to $1 billion worth of merchandise in 111 countries.[9]

As it progressed, the strip underwent stylistic changes. The appearance of Garfield was probably the most notable; he underwent a "Darwinian evolution" in which he began walking on his hind legs, "slimmed down", and "stopped looking [...] through squinty little eyes". His evolution, according to Davis, was to make it easier to "push Odie off the table" or "reach for a piece of pie".[7]

Davis is no longer the sole artist of Garfield. Though he still creates the stories and rough sketches, other artists handle the inking, coloring, and lettering; Davis spends most of his time managing the business and merchandising of Garfield. Read full history at wikipedia.....

POSTCROSSING, THE POSTCARD CROSSING PROJECT.

Postcrossing, the postcard crossing project:

The goal of this project is to allow people to receive postcards from all over the world, for free. Well, almost free! The main idea is that: if you send a postcard, you will receive at least one back from a random Postcrosser from somewhere in the world.
Why? Because, like the author, there are lots of people who like to receive real mail. The element of surprise of receiving postcards from different places in the world (many of which you probably have never heard of) can turn your mailbox into a box of surprises - and who wouldn't like that?

There are more than 2 million postcards received since 2005!
How does it work?
First, the short version:
1-request an address from the website
2-mail the postcard to the address
3-wait to receive a postcard
4-register the received postcard in the system
The first step is to request to send a postcard. The website will display (and send you an e-mail) with the address of another member and a Postcard ID (e.g.: US-786). You then mail a postcard to that member.
The member receives the postcard and registers it using the Postcard ID that is on the postcard. At this point, you are eligible to receive a postcard from another user. You are now in line for the next person that requests to send a postcard. Where the postcard comes from is a surprise!
You can have up to 5 postcards traveling at any single time. Every time one of the postcards you send is registered, you can request another address. The number of postcards allowed to travel at any single time goes up the more postcards you send!

You can join POSTCROSSING and know lots of places HERE:

Digimon: The Movie Wallpapers and Pictures

Digimon: The Movie, released in the U.S. and Canada territory by Fox Kids in October 2000, consists of the union of the first three Japanese Digimon movies (which were released separately in Japan). The first two parts are from Digimon Adventure and the 3rd part from Digimon Adventure 02. Those stories are based in the universe introduced in the first two seasons of the TV series. The movie in the U.S. is distributed by 20th Century Fox. The unified version released in North America had a high degree of editing, with more than 40 minutes of scenes from the individual Japanese versions cut out in order to save time, along with several plot changes (possibly to help make more sense of the movie in the absence of the deleted scenes).

That is true after all! There will be a sequel of Kamen Rider THE FIRST! Now take a look at new Rider, Kamen Rider V3!! For me, I expect it’ll be release to the movie theater in Japan this Winter. I doubt it

Fantastic Four Carton Movie and Wallpapers

The Fantastic Four is a fictional superhero team appearing in comic books published by Marvel Comics. The group debuted in The Fantastic Four #1 (Nov. 1961), which helped to usher in a new naturalism in the medium. The Fantastic Four was the first superhero team created by writer-editor Stan Lee and artist and co-plotter Jack Kirby, who developed a collaborative approach to creating comics with this title that they would utilize from then on. As the first superhero team title produced by Marvel Comics, it formed a cornerstone of the company's 1960s rise from a small division of a publishing company to a pop-culture conglomerate. The title would go on to showcase the talents of comics creators such as Roy Thomas, John Byrne, Steve Englehart, Walt Simonson, and Tom DeFalco, and is one of several Marvel titles still in publication since the Silver Age of Comic Books.

The four core individuals traditionally associated with the Fantastic Four, who gained superpowers after exposure to cosmic rays during a scientific mission to outer space, are: Mr. Fantastic (Reed Richards), a scientific genius and the leader of the group, who can stretch his body into incredible lengths and shapes; the Invisible Woman (Susan "Sue" Storm), Reed's wife, who can render herself invisible and project powerful force fields; the Human Torch (Johnny Storm), Sue's younger brother, who can generate flames, surround himself with them and fly; and the monstrous Thing (Ben Grimm), their grumpy but benevolent friend, who possesses superhuman strength and endurance.

Since the original four's 1961 introduction, the Fantastic Four have been portrayed as a somewhat dysfunctional yet loving family. Breaking convention with other comic-book archetypes of the time, they would squabble and hold grudges both deep and petty, and eschew anonymity or secret identities in favor of celebrity status. The team is also well known for its recurring struggles with characters such as the villainous monarch Doctor Doom, the planet-devouring Galactus, the sea-dwelling prince Namor, the spacefaring Silver Surfer, and the shape-changing alien Skrulls.

The Fantastic Four have been adapted into other media, including four animated television series, an aborted 1990s low-budget film, the major motion picture Fantastic Four (2005), and its sequel, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Read full at wikipedia.....have a fun
